Ió! Diego, recebi a notícia do suicídio corajoso de Walmor aqui na “Praia dos Carneiros”, uma das muitas maravilhas de Pernambuco, nosso Repouso de Guerreiros, meu e do Ator Poeta da Arte Teatral: Roderick HimÉros.
Estamos preparando a Guerra pra ganhar 2013, estrategiando com nosso Poder Teat(r)al a peça: Cacilda!!! – Glória no TBC, 3ª das 4 peças que escrevi sobre a Arte Elétrica Quântica de Cacilda Becker, a partir de um prêmio que ganhei na gestão de Fernando Morais na Secretaria de Cultura da Cidade de SamPã em 1990. Este ato Trágico de Walmor atinge a peça em que estamos trabalhando, em cheio.
É sobre Cacilda, o TBC e… Walmor. Ele chega em Sampã e entra no TBC, dirigido por Ziembinski.
Conheci o poder deste gênio estóico pela primeira vem em “VOLPONE”, fazendo o MOSCA. Cacilda apaixonou-se de cara pelo sujeito transumano e pelo Ator, quando conheceu aquele menino, mais novo que ela, atuando em cima de um monte de Merda como uma Mosca Varejeira.
Em “Gata em Teto de Zinco Quente”, a personagem de Cacilda, Maggie, a Gata, não consegue trepar com ele, ele é gay, vive na cama do casal, enchendo a cara, não quer nada com ela. Walmor-Brik está atormentado pelo suicídio do seu Amante Skipper. E está ferido na perna esquerda, sem poder locomover-se direito. Na peça e na vida: Cacilda acaba ganhando por 12 anos Walmor Brick como marido, e seu maior parceiro Teatral.
Abandona o conforto do TBC e funda a Cia. com Walmor: o TCB (Teatro Cacilda Becker). Cara!, a peça agora podia se chamar Cacilda!!! – Walmor!!!
Cacilda teve um aneurisma no 2º ato de “Esperando Godot”. Walmor assistiu e viveu os 39 dias de coma da Atriz-Matriz e depois com permissão da família dela desligou os aparelhos que a mantinham com vida vegetativa e ele … suicidou-se pra não ser peso, nem pra ele, nem pra ninguém.
É uma Tragédia completa de Teat(r)o.

Walmor e Cacilda: os maiores Ator e Atriz que o Brasil já fabricou!
Vai mudar muito a peça que escrevi em 1990.
Já encenei duas, da Tetralogia: na 1ª, Cacilda! (uma Exclamação) Walmor já entrou, vivido por Marcelo Drummond. Montei a segunda, também Cacilda!!(duas Exclamações), quando ela é uma Estrela a Vagar pelo Rio de Janeiro. Dou o ano de 2013 pra Cacilda!!! (três Exclamações) e este acontecimento com Walmor vira do avesso esta peça.
Em 2015, se estiver vivo, monto Cacilda!!!! (quatro Exclamações).

Agora é claro: pela atitude de Walmor, diante da vida toda, tudo que fez, Walmor e Cacilda equivalem-se, são ambos protagonistas. Marcelo Drummond vai viver este Protagonista este ano, da peça que será montada:

- em seu Entorno tombado pelo IPHAN em 2010, que já estamos ocupando: Um quarteirão Inteiro do Bixiga e
- no TBC em obras.
Soubemos da notícia por Felipe, o dono da Pousada que nos chamou pra ver em seu quarto uma entrevista dele com 80 anos, que a Globo News pôs imediatamente no ar. Nela Walmor, o entrevistado, contagiou a entrevistadora e vi uma das mais belas entrevistas teatrais de minha vida. Tente ver, é deslumbrante. Walmor nela afirma emocionado o Valor Incomensurável do Teatro, atuando, contando do aneurisma de Cacilda no 2º Ato de “Esperando Godot”, como nunca havia contado.

ENFIM, TENHO MUITO Q DIZER SOBRE WALMOR, MITO DE “CACILDA!!! – GLÓRIA NO TBC”, ONDE A ATRIZ DAS ATRIZES ENCONTRA UM JOGADOR COM A POTÊNCIA DE SEU JOGO.

'Amour' Review: Film Offers Unflinching Look at Aging Process

Oscar nominations gave us a few major surprises. From the snub of Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow (“Zero Dark Thirty”) to the exclusion of Ben Affleck (“Argo”) in the directorial race, many critics were wondering what the Academy was thinking.

One thing that they must have been thinking about was the film “Amour,” which surprised critics and audiences alike by receiving five nominations (including for Best Director and Best Picture). And although the movie is still an underdog in most categories, it has a solid shot at several big awards because of the delicacy in which it handles the stirring subjects of aging and romance.

  The story focuses on a married couple in their 80s, who are warmly played by Jean-Louis Trintignant and Emmanuelle Riva. Near the beginning, the two are sharing a lovely but quiet meal together when Anne (Riva) suddenly becomes quiet, her face locked in a blank stare that her husband Georges (Trintignant) doesn’t understand. She was playing a practical joke, he assumes when she returns back to her normal self a few moments later.
But no. Something has changed.
The stroke that she suffered only hints at the health issues that Anne faces as her husband takes care of her, standing by her side as her condition worsens. “You inflict nothing on me,” he tells her when she knows otherwise. She is weak and grows weaker by the day. He carries the burden for both of them as they face the inevitable pain of aging and loss. carrying the burden for both of them.
Several years ago, I worked at an assisted living facility and watched as older people faced an inevitable decline in their health and their faculties. The grand thing about “Amour” is how true it rings. Aging isn’t like an injury. It’s not like a concussion an athlete experiences on the field, only to recover from a few days later. It’s a slow and painful departure from the normal way of doing things into an acceptance of a new, harsher reality where actions take longer than they did before and pain never seems to go away.
Anne faces such a scenerio. She becomes paralyzed on her right side. She remains in bed for a long time and fails to wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. This is aging in the film and the complexities that arise with it are shown clearly and unflinchingly in a script by writer/director Michael Haneke.
The characters are flawed and sometimes resistant to the help they are offered. Anne never wants to go back to the hospital after her first trip there and Georges coldly writes off his own daughter’s support (“Your concern is no use to me,” he says). But through it all, “Amour” captures the pain and perils of aging in a way that will be hard to forget. One development in the third act did surprise me (and not in a good way) but for most of the film, the story looks and feels very real.
Films like “Amour” are hard to watch because they so honestly—removing pretense and self-pity—examine the heartbreak of the aging process. The movie pales in comparison to Sarah Polley's 2006 drama "Away from Her" but is still well worth seeing for the honesty and sobriety it shows in taking on such a difficult subject.
