"Garota de Ipanema" cantada por Amy Winehouse cai na internet

Nesta terça-feira, a rádio BBC tocou todas as faixas do disco "Lioness: Hidden Treasures", o primeiro álbum póstumo de Amy Winehouse. Entre as faixas que ainda não haviam caído na internet, está "The Girl From Ipanema", versão da música "Garota de Ipanema", de Tom Jobim. Escute a faixa aqui.
Também foram tocadas pela BBC faixas que também estarão no novo CD, como "Our Day Will Come", "Like Smoke", "Halftime" e "Between The Cheats".
O disco sai no próximo dia 6 nos Estados Unidos.

My first exposure to “The Girl From Ipanema” was stuck all the way towards the end of an old Frank Sinatra compilation I picked up on CD when I was younger, and whilst knowing nothing about Bossa Nova (the style the song was originally done in) I did have an ear for a good tune.
As did the late Amy Winehouse as evidenced by her decision to cover the song, though never having been officially released it does show up on her posthumous album “Lioness: Hidden Treasures”, along with the previously heard “Our Day Will Come”, “Like Smoke”, “Halftime”, and “Between The Cheats” who until recently were all unheard and unreleased songs by Winehouse.
This week BBC2 in the UK have had the album as their album of the week, dropping a new track from it each day and what rounds out a nice little collection of new music from her, the final piece of new stuff was played this morning and you can hear a radio rip of it below. “Lioness: Hidden Treasures” is out on December 5th in the U.K. and December 6th in the U.S.
